Abstract :
The frequency-dependent transmission characteristics of curved microstrip bends are calculated by utilising a second-order perturbation analysis of the equivalent curved waveguide model and a mode-matching method that includes the higher-order modes. Computational results for the transmission coefficient of typical curved microstrip bends are presented and compared to results obtained for right-angle and chamfered right-angle bends.
