  • Abstract
    The large-signal dynamics of semiconductor laser amplifiers are simulated for the first time using a harmonic balance method suitable for the computer-aided-design of photonic circuits. As a specific example, the authors have simulated feedforward electrical linearisation of a semiconductor laser amplifier, and its sensitivity to residual facet reflectivity.
