Abstract
In a previously published paper (see ibid., vol.AC-32, no.3, p.243-6, 1987) H. Xiheng presented four examples for model reduction based on a modified Pade approximation method. It is pointed out that three of these contain errors. A brief reply from H. Xiheng is also given.<>
