  • Abstract
    We study the problem of simultaneous stabilization of a given set of nonlinear plants by one nonlinear, not necessarily stable compensator. We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition under which there is a single compensator which stabilizes a given set of n nonlinear plants. This note emphasizes the importance of the following problem: when is a nonlinear unstable plant stabilizable by an incrementally stable compensator.
