Abstract :
The results of an experiment designed to search for a short-range, isospin coupling component of the fifth force are presented. The experiment was carried out using a beam balance. The value for the coupling constant ξ was found to be (0.8±2.0)×10-2 . The significance of this result is discussed with reference to other recently published work
