Abstract :
This paper presents calculated results of iron loss distribution in an induction motor model core. The authors have analyzed the induction motor model by using the improved finite-element method considering the vector magnetic properties. The vector magnetic properties are the relationship between the measured magnetic flux density and the magnetic field strength as a vector quantity. Thus, one can directly calculate iron loss distributions from this relationship.
