Abstract :
A systematic approach to the generation of two-op-amp floating impedances (FIs) from the existing single-op-amp grounded impedances (GIs) is established. The approach possesses the following features: (1) the FI is achieved simply by inspection of the given single-op-amp GI. (2) The basic form of the given GI is fully retained in the resulting FI. Thus if the original GI had any special features, such as canonicity with regard to the number of capacitors and the single-element tunability of Z, these features would be retained in the resulting FI
