Abstract :
An efficient and stable 532 nm Nd:YVO4 microchip laser pumped by a single-longitudinal-mode laser-diode through a ball lens is presented. By controlling the temperature of crystals, an output power of as much as 17.2 mW with a stability of 0.24% is obtained at a 121 mW pumping power.
