Abstract :
Every engineer needs an understanding of management and business skills to succeed in their chosen field and to become a competent professional. The author describes how the IEE Management & Design Division Professional Group Committee M4 has produced a presentation which includes a specially prepared video addressing the issues of career development for the professional engineer. The author summarises the content of the presentation and identifies the commitment required to engineer one´s own success
