Abstract :
The permeability tensor is calculated for a thin magnetic film having stripe domain structure and out-of-plane uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. The domain width is assumed to be large compared to the film thickness, and the damping parameter is taken into account. A relationship between the static permeability and the resonance frequency is found, which leads to a certain limitation of the microwave permeability of such films.
