Abstract :
Nuclear Medicine instrumentation, as is the case for most sophisticated technologies, is constantly being improved through the introduction of new devices as well as through refinements in devices that are available from several manufacturers. The purpose of this text is to describe the recent developments that have led to improvements in the performance of instruments currently being used for routine diagnostic studies and to also describe some of the new devices that are becoming available.
