Abstract :
An experimental technique has been developed which uses a continuous, low-level, X-ray source to determine the direct drive SGEMP response of satellite cables. Preliminary experimental results are presented for three types of cables. The direct drive responses obtained in the continuous X-ray experiments are compared with responses obtained in flash X-ray and underground test experiments.
