Abstract :
Feedback-feedforward stabilizers for linear neutral delay-differential systems are proposed. Explicit conditions under which an adequate compensator yields a desired closed-loop characteristic polynomial are given. The relation between realizability properties such as causality of the compensator and structural properties of the system are also described. An example is provided to illustrate the design technique.
