Abstract :
Stability of control systems with multiple nonlinearities is discussed. A non-Luré type Lyapunov function is presented, which surpasses the Luré-type function from the point of view of the stability region guaranteed. This function is used to establish a stability criterion for the system. The superiority of the function proposed is indicated by a numerical example, comparing the stability boundary to that obtained by a Luré-type Lyapunov function.
