Abstract :
Parameter identification in a process-model control system, in which the controller involves a model of the process, is presented. The identification is performed through using information about the difference between the actual and specified responses. The identification procedure is based on an expression for the prediction of the controlled response as a linear function in the process parameters, and based on successive solutions of a set of linear algebraic equations.
