Abstract :
An automated computer controlled meteorological monitoring station has been designed for use in nuclear power plant facilities. Design criteria were established in accordance with Regulatory Guides pertaining to the acquisition, reduction and compilation, archiving, and communication of on-site meteorological data. Redundant sensors, processing instrumentation, and power sources contribute significantly to the overall system reliability.
