Abstract :
A description is given of a set of models of varying accuracy such that the designer/user can trade off between accuracy and computation speed to achieve the desired performance of the operator-training simulator. Several new models, obtained by reducing available higher-order models, are presented. A pressurized water reactor model suitable for such applications is introduced. A detailed comparison of the accuracy and computation speed for these models is provided
