Abstract :
In the liberalized energy market and under the framework of the European Union Renewables Directive, Italy´s commitment to wind power is very ambitious. This article focuses on the evolution of wind power in Italy from the perspective of a major player in the supply industry. The regulatory aspects are also covered.
