Abstract
The authors report the first experimental demonstration of a ten-element interferometric fibre sensor array. The system topology is based on a ladder network of Mach-Zehnder sensor elements which are time-division multiplexed. Phase shift detection sensitivities ranging from 12 to 18 mu rad/ square root Hz at a frequency of 1 kHz are reported for the array.
