Abstract :
Theoretical and experimental results on the influence of gyroscopic forces on the dynamics of cross-tie domain walls are presented. Both steady-state motion and oscillations in alternating magnetic fields are studied. It is shown that the mobility of the wall is renormalized due to Thiele forces. The characteristics of domain wall creep in alternating fields parallel to the hard magnetization direction are obtained
