Abstract :
This paper presents a parametrization method for direct adaptive control of linear multivariable systems with strictly proper discrete-time or continuous-time transfer functions. The necessary a priori information is shown to be a diagonal matrix with the noninvertible zeros of the Smith form and appropriate polynomial degrees.
