Abstract
A bi-aspherical waveguide lens with a focal length of 12 mm and an F -number of 4 was designed and fabricated for a Ti:LiNbO3 waveguide by the proton-exchange technique. The experimental results show that the lens has almost diffraction-limited focusing characteristics within the incident beam angle of ±6°, and 5 dB insertion loss
