Abstract :
We use the general formula of the synthesis window of the oversampled discrete Fourier transform filter bank in terms of the minimum-norm solution and the null space of the perfect reconstruction condition matrix to optimize the window design. We give closed-form solutions to different optimization criteria, e.g., minimum out-of-band power, minimum quantization-error, and minimum window order
