  • Abstract
    A general description of the data acquisition interface in use with the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory VAX 11/780 computer system is given. The system employs a special purpose computer, a Microprogrammed Branch Driver (MBD), to connect the VAX to a CAMAC Branch Highway. Data rates and initial operating experience with the system will be discussed.
