Abstract :
Dynamic analysis and controls design for flexible spacecraft involves high-order dynamic systems with multiple inputs and outputs. Computer tools are essential for such analysis. This paper describes the controls/structures interaction analysis capability of an interdisciplinary computer software system, called the Integrated Analysis Capability (IAC), that is being developed by Boeing Aerospace Company for NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. An overview of IAC components and procedures is presented, and an example of a preliminary space station controls design is shown.
