Abstract :
This paper presents a technique for obtaining digitally samples of the kth-order derivative of the in-phase and quadrature components of a discrete-time bandpass signal, using an extended programmable version of a digital product detector (DPD) of variable noninteger delay. The programmability of the design is achieved by using an approximation based on a maximally flat frequency response error criterion.
