Abstract :
The switching rates of dual selection combining diversity and dual switch-and-stay combining diversity in Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami-m (m half-integer or integer) fading are derived. Closed-form or single integral expressions are obtained for both the cases of balanced channels and unbalanced channels.
