Abstract :
Fast variances of temperature profile and heat flux through the water-air interface caused by atmospheric turbulence in weak wind conditions have been determined on the basis of measurements of radio brightness evolution of water at the frequencies of 60 and 131 GHz. Two components of the heat flux related to evaporation and to thermal conductivity have been obtained, which enabled us to determine evaporation rate and viscous sublayer depth variances. Statistical parameters of water surface temperature variations have been calculated.
