Abstract :
The authors investigate the performance of an asynchronous hybrid direct sequence/frequency-hopped spread-spectrum communication system in the presence of a combined multiple access interference, Rician fading and thermal noise. The system employs M-ary FSK modulation (M>2) and a non-coherent demodulator. Several forward error corrections are examined in this study.
