Abstract :
The algebraic decoding of a class of multilevel pseudocyclic codes is presented. An affine permutation is employed which does not preserve the original code but changes it into a cyclic code over an extension field. After a cyclic code is obtained the ordinary algebraic decoding techniques are then applicable.
