  • Abstract
    A new motion estimation algorithm that uses low resolution quantisation is proposed. It reduces the amount of computation required for motion estimation by exploiting the images generated with low resolution quantisation. Simulation results show that this algorithm can achieve significant reduction in the computational cost while maintaining its performance close to that of the full search algorithm
