Abstract :
This brief deals with substitutions on m-variate rational proper functions. It is shown that the stability property of an m-variate proper rational function is preserved when one or several of its variables are substituted by positive real functions. As a consequence, we give results on robust and simultaneous stabilization of m-dimensional systems using stable constant controllers.
