Abstract :
A prototype of Safety Parameter Display System named as TOSHIBA SPDS has been developed. It consists of CPU, I/O and SPDS console with two color CRTs and a key-board. The minimum set of fundamental plant parameters, status of the important systems and alarm messages are displayed on CRTs. This system was evaluated with real time BWR plant simulator. Through this system evaluation test, TOSHIBA SPDS has been proved to be truely effective for the quick and correct assessment of the plant status under both normal and anomalous conditions.
