Abstract :
A mathematical model which defines a new subclass of voltage-inversion negative-impedance convertors is presented. Functionally, the model is a dual of that from which Larky realised his well known current-inversion n.i.c. Three realisations of convertors in the new subclass are given, together with two new realisations of Larky´s model. Each convertor in the new subclass exhibits an improvement in gain-product sensitivity by a factor of two compared with its Larky-type dual.
