Abstract :
Line length is an alternative variable parameter in distributed-component design when there are constraints on choice of impedance. By means of an analogy with the synthetised LC ladder formulas, simple expressions have been found which permit the use of either variable. Application to the design of dielectric-layer filters in waveguide 16 is discussed.
