Abstract :
A new algorithm is presented for blind deconvolution of a nonminimum phase system. Instead of solving a one-dimensional blind deconvolution problem, the proposed method solves a two-dimensional blind deconvolution problem. It recovers a scaled and time-shifted version of the input sequence by the maximum time delay slice of the third order moment (TOM) of the input sequence. The only channel information required in this method is its TOM, which can be estimated from the output signal. The main advantages of the proposed method are that it does not require the procedures of optimising and signal preprocessing (such as spectral prewhitening).
