Low-Q factor single-stage amplifier tuned to the resonant frequency

This note presents a computation of the response to the input step-modulated high-frequency signal of a single-stage low-Q factor amplifier tuned to the resonant frequency. The shape of this response depends primarily on the phase angle of the signal. The first extrema even of the high-Q factor amplifier do not lie on the exponential curves.
