Abstract
Joined up thinking is the latest ´it´ thing in strategy. joined-up thinking exudes low-brow simplicity and inclusivity, which in the current corporate climate is its philosophical and emotional strength. With past profit figures and share options increasingly viewed with suspicion, building or restoring a culture of trust is now high on the list of corporate missions. It is difficult to disagree with the concept of joined-up thinking, but the author explains that there is more to joining-up than just thinking.
