  • Abstract
    A previous communication proposed the Pólya distribution to describe photon correlations in ionising laser beams. Results are reported here for a special case of the Pólya distribution (Furry distribution). Given independent evidence that the Furry distribution applies, the present results enable one to distinguish between different multiphoton ionisation processes.
