  • Abstract
    A useful laboratory plasma has been produced with a brush-cathode reflex discharge in argon. Plasma measurements made on the discharge indicate that electron densities of 1011 cm¿3 may readily be obtained. The effect of an axial magnetic field on the discharge is also mentioned.
