Abstract :
An ANALOGIC array processor AP400 has been connected to a PDP-11/44. To test the speeding-up characteristics of the AP400 used for list mode data analysis two monitoring routines of the HOOPSY-program system1 have been transferred to the array processor. Running these routines the AP400 was faster by a factor of 40 to 60 than the PDP-11/44.
