    The purpose of this Special Issue is to present selected papers based on oral presentations made at the 1966 International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Unlike the conference Proceedings, which publishes digests of these presentations, it was our aim to make complete papers available to members of the IEEE Group on Circuit Theory.
