Abstract :
The phase retardation produced by an ADP 45° y cut composite modulator is shown to be inversely proportional to wavelength between 0.4¿1.1 ¿m. For this orientation the applied-field-dependent first-order nonlinear term in optical polarisability is wavelength-independent.
