Abstract :
High-frequency small-amplitude current modulation has been observed in a vapour-deposited CdS thin film subjected to high electric stress in the ruby substrate plane. The possibility that this modulation may be attributed to travelling-charge domains formed by acoustoelectric interaction in the acoustic waveguide system is discussed.
