  • Abstract
    A coherent receiver for MPSK, suitable for digital implementation, is presented. It uses a simple adaptive algorithm for generating the coherent reference. Simulations show that it achieves good error probability performance. It is robust with respect to the carrier phase model and offers better operating characteristics than carrier-loop receivers.
