Abstract :
Two previous determinations of equivalent-circuit parameters of cavity resonators do not clearly recognise the relationship between the equivalent-circuit current, voltage and charge, and the corresponding quantities of the cavity. An approach is proposed which determines a completely consistent equivalent circuit by paying particular attention to the stored charge.
