Voluntary page charges (February 1969)
Abstract :
The IEEE Board of Directors recenty took action making it possible for IEEE publications to adopt voluntary page charges. The Solid-State Circuits Council has decided that it is necessary to utilize this new source of revenue. Effective with the current issue the company or institution with which an author is associated is being invited to assist in defraying part of the cost of publication by paying voluntary page charges.
