Abstract :
The question of technology´s neutrality is a question that has played, and continues to play, a central role in studies of the relationship between technology and society, which is one clue to understanding the article´s sustained relevance. A belief in the neutrality of technology, against which Balabanian argues, is for him only a contributing factor to a larger problem, a problem with no less at stake than the fate of human technological civilization
