Abstract :
The boundary element method (BEM) for 3-D eddy current problems formulated in terms of the second order vector potential is presented. The formulation provides the least possible number of degrees of freedom per boundary node and offers considerable savings in computing. Numerical results for two test problems showing good agreement with the available experimental and analytical results are illustrated.
