Abstract :
We have tested the Flash ADC CX 20052 made by Sony. The manufacturer claims that the maximum operative frequency is 30 MHz. Our tests show that this device works reliably to 50 MHz and may even work above 90 MHz. The present measurement limitation is due to timing requirements of the RAM and address counter circuits used in the tester.
